In 1989 she founded Apple Music Copy Services which led her to purchase the domain name www.applemusic.com. In 2003 she sold the domain to Steve Jobs for the launch of Apple's iTunes Music Store, an event which ignited the digital music revolution.
In 1991, she made her Carnegie Hall debut performing on keyboard along with pianist-composer Robert DeGaetano in the world premiere of a concert version of his opera Moneta, that was Music Directed by Jack Lee.
Jean is business manager for jazz drummer Joe Piazza. She collaborated with pianist-composer Robert DeGaetano for over 30 years, programming his concerts and produced/co-produced and acted as artistic advisor for all ten of his recordings.
Jean has adjudicated the finals for the David Adams Art Song Competition in New York City. In 2009 she was the special guest artist with the Ars Nova Chamber Singers, accompanying the soloists in two concerts in Colorado.
Since 2009 Jean has been the guest artist for Helena Choral Week festival in Montana, accompanying soloists in five different concerts in five days.
In 2012 Jean went to the Czech Republic with pianist Robert DeGaetano to serve as music advisor for the recording of his Piano Concerto No. 1 and Chopin Piano Concerto No. 1. The recording was made with the Moravian Philharmonic and is was distributed by Naxos in 2013. It includes a documentary where Jean is acknowledged with special thanks.
In recent years Jean has toured to Buenos Aires, Vilniius, Riga, Talinn, Istanbul, Izmir, Vienna, Berlin, Prague, Olomouc, Bratislava, Venice and Madrid.
Since 2010 Jean performs using an iPad as a music reader and the AirTurn bluetooth pedal that turns pages. She is a specialist in digital music management, engraving and restoration.
Jean is currently working as the pianist and music copyist for an opera composed by Laurence Guittard. She also works with several celebrities creating digital archives of their careers and productions.
Blessed with a gene for technology and organization, Jean consults for several foundations in New York City for a wide range of projects. She was the Director of Technology and a consultant for the Nathan Cummings Foundation for 10 years. Jean specializes in digital organization, database management, and Mac OS and iOS user support. She also has designed and manages numerous websites.
